Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I would like to get a solution for the swelling that is present under the male urinary bladder, particularly in one ball. I guess it has occurred after undergoing a local operation for cystitis. Please help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

We will pay close attention to your worries and address all your questions with utmost care.

The male urinary tract contains the kidney, ureters, urinary bladder, and the urethra. However, the male genital tract contains the testes and penis. You mentioned that the swelling is in the male urinary bladder, by which I guess you mean the swelling in the testes. There are several causes for swelling in the testes. It can be due to injury, infection, hydrocele, sebaceous cyst, or filariasis. All these have special lines of treatment, but you need to be clear about your concerns. I suggest you do the following:

  1. Clean the affected areas with neem leaves decoction and keep the area dry.
  2. Apply Jatyadi Ghritam (Jatyadi oil, ghee, turmeric, and licorice) externally twice a day.
  3. Take a tablet of Gandhak Rasayan (purified and detoxified sulfur) twice a day orally after meals.
  4. Take a tablet of Kaishore Guggulu (Gokshuru) twice a day orally after meals.

For better diagnosis, kindly share pictures of the affected areas.

I hope this helps. Do get back if you have any further queries.

Thank you.

Probable diagnosis

The probable diagnosis is that the swelling could be due to infection from ill-treated minor surgery.

Preventive measures

Kindly maintain internal hygiene, and avoid eating curd and its products, and rice. Take sufficient rest.

Regarding follow up

Kindly follow-up after one week.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
