Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I had acidity, a burning sensation in my stomach for the past month and under my throat, and I took ayurvedic medicine, which reduced the burning sensation. I have discomfort after breakfast or meals. My stomach is very heavy, and after some time, I burp. Since I was told not to have an empty stomach, I keep eating or drinking fruit juices between meals. I am concerned if it is because of this. I defecate three to four times a day. Will it help in healing acidity or worsen it? Sometimes I have stomach pain when my stomach is empty. My tongue shows the presence of a wound, and it becomes very dry without saliva even after drinking water, especially at midnight. Kindly suggest treatment. Can I take home remedies like coriander and jeera powder in boiled water, along with Ayurvedic medicine? will it help in healing fast? Can I take Amla juice along with an Amlant tablet?
Please help.
