Which tablet is the best for increasing immunity?

This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I needed to boost my immune system, and I contacted a nearby medical store where they prescribed a Carilox tablet and Liverem capsules for boosting immunity. Can I have this? I am taking a depression tablet and have a uric acid problem and a gastric problem. Please advise if I can take these medications as precautions against coronavirus disease.

Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I read your query and can understand your concern.

I suggest you take:

  1. Liverem capsules (Kizha-Nelli, Bhringraj, Katukarogini, Nila-vembu, Nimbu) to boost immunity.
  2. Tablet Carilox (Curcuminoids, Piperine, hyaluronic acid) can not improve your immunity. It will work only if a cold or cough is there and will also cause drowsiness. So please do not take it unnecessarily.
  3. Along with Liverem, you can also take turmeric (powder or tablet) in boiled milk.

I suggest the following to prevent coronavirus infections:

  1. Saltwater or saline - nasal irrigation (Jala neti in yoga - see online), gargling - two times a day.
  2. Karisaalai madakkuthailam or Kaiyyan thailam drops - apply one drop on each nostril (after brushing in the morning and before bed); using a thumb tip, apply one drop of oil in the throat (two times a day). This will boost immunity in the nose and throat. The same oil can be applied to the scalp (hair) daily. Take a bath after half an hour.
  3. Turmeric and milk: These will protect you from virus infection by boosting immunity.

(Consult a specialist doctor, discuss with them, and take the medicines with their consent).

I hope this helps.

Please revert so I can assist you further.

Thank you.
