Hello doctor,
My husband is suffering from lower back pain. If he stands for more than five minutes, his legs start shaking and he has to sit. He also underwent an angioplasty six years back and is under medication. Can he take Ksheera bala tablets for his condition?
Hi,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
The low back pain is very common due to the strain of the muscles, ligaments or tendons connected to the backbones or vertebrae. Sometimes it is due to an intervertebral disc prolapse or compression of nerves. When muscles unable to hold weight they causes severing. This pain may be acute, subacute or chronic.
Long-standing, long sitting, riding vehicles, trauma, tumor or obesity. There are several risk factors to causes back pain like smoking, drinking, obesity, age-related, etc.
Investigations to be done:X-ray, MRI, CT scan, CBC.
Differential diagnosis:Diagnosis is based on symptoms and investigation reports.
Treatment plan:Oileation therapy is the best way to manage it. As per your complaints, he underwent angioplasty but you can give him Ksheerbala tablet or capsules. Do regular anuloma vilom for 15 minutes.
Preventive measures:Avoid to stand or sit for a long time, keep body weight in equal distribution, toes must be able to move freely, the bed must be firm and soft. Avoid to use the pillow or use a thin pillow.
