Hi doctor,
My stools are well-formed. But I go multiple times. Many years ago, I used to pass loose stools. I took Ayurveda treatment for eight days. It gave me good results. How can I reduce my number of seats? Please suggest.
Hi,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
Passing stools frequently in well-formed consistency indicates the history of grahani roga. It correlates with IBS (irritable bowel syndrome). If it is associated with pain, burning, and stool with mucus, then it is diagnosed as colitis. You can manage them naturally by taking ayurvedic medicines and by doing yoga practices.
Take these medicines regularly for one month. Take Bilva Avaleha (Baelphal with Avaleha) one teaspoon twice a day before having food. Take Dadimastaka Churna (Vamsha with Nagakesara) three grams twice a day with warm water. Take Kutajaghana Vati (Kutaj herb) two tablets twice a day with warm water after having meals. Take Pipallyasava (Amla with Lodhra) 15 ml twice a day with an equal amount of water after having meals.
Avoid taking spicy and fried junk foods. Avoid smoking and drinking if you have these habits. Avoid taking milk and milk products, tea, coffee, cold drinks, soft drinks, and ice creams. Eat fibrous foods and fruits as well as green leafy vegetables. Do regular kapalbhati and mandukasana as well as pranayamas like anuloma vilom, Nadi sodhana pranayama, and bhramari pranayama. Do these things and provide your valuable feedback after fifteen days.
