Patient's Query
Thank you doctor,
My problem is that for last two months during the humid season, I always feel chest tightness and have to use a rescue inhaler (Levolin) once every day and Doxofylline at night. I have been tested for allergy and the report says that I am highly allergic to house dust mites. For the last month, I have been taking allergy shots, but no effect till now. As such kindly recommend me a treatment so that my asthma can be cured and I can breathe freely. I have been diagnosed with hypothyroidism last month and I take Thyronorm 100 one tablet in the morning daily. My height is 6'20" and my weight is 213.84 Ibs.
Hi,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
First of all, take medicine Antimonium tartaricum 200 at the interval of 12 hours for 15 days. This type of asthma aggravates in a humid season only, so take care of things such as bedspread and pillow covers on alternate days and wash the curtains once in a month of your room. Use a vacuum cleaner for cleaning and use a face mask for the whole day. Avoid dusty areas. In an emergency, I suggest Levolin (Levosalbutamol) twice in a day and Doxofylline at night time.
