Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I am 18 years old, I recently had oatmeal and I have got an allergy to my penis, It has much irritation. What can I do?
Please help.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I read your query and understand your concern. As you have mentioned about the allergy and also mentioned oatmeal intake. If you have taken oatmeal for the first time then it might be due to a food allergy due to oatmeal. Then stop taking more oatmeal. If it is a mild allergy then it will automatically vanish, but if symptoms of allergy are more and also it is not due to oatmeal and you have some other associated symptoms like itching, rashes, and redness. Then it might be due to some sort of infection and not due to allergy and treatment varies according to cause. So I advise you to go to a nearby dermatologist so that he can rule out the exact cause and you will get the proper treatment. Because taking generalized treatment may cause the symptoms to reappear. So do consult a nearby physician so that he can look at the penile skin and tell you exactly about the situation and you will get proper treatment so that the problem can be cured completely.
I hope you are satisfied with my answer.
Thank you.
