Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I am an 18-year-old, and my face is full of pimple marks, dark spots, and black patches. What can I apply and for how many days. I want a clean, glowing face. I drink aloe vera and amla juice twice daily. Please suggest.

Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern.

The pimples at this age may have many causes, like hormonal changes, excessive oily diet, environmental causes, etc. You should have mentioned how long you have used this fairness cream and these juices. I am going to prescribe you treatment for your problem. It can take one month to three months, depending upon your skin's nature and how long it will take to heal. The probable causes can be hormonal changes or environmental causes or unhealthy lifestyle. Above all, as your teenage years pass, your hormonal imbalance will come to normal because sometimes hormones may cause skin changes.

1. Add fresh fruits, vegetables, and coconut water to your diet. These all will nourish your skin internally. On regular intake of a healthy diet, your skin will soon become glowing. Drink plenty of fresh water, at least 12 glasses a day, and it will help to flush out excessive toxins from your body. Avoid excessive oily and spicy food, junk food, tea, coffee, and cold drinks.

2. Sleep adequately for at least eight hours, and go to bed before midnight. Regular sleep patterns will make your skin look healthier. Do not take excessive stress as this can lead to various reactions in the body, further making skin look dull.

3. Start taking Himalaya Talekt (haldi and neem) capsules twice daily with water for four weeks. This medicine is beneficial for all your skin problems.

4. Use Acnovin cream (neem) for local application. Wash your face with lukewarm water, clean it, and dry it with a towel gently. Apply this cream twice a day, rubbing it lightly until it penetrates the skin. Use this cream for up to one month.

5. Sunlight also increases skin problems. So only go to sunlight by applying sunscreen lotion and covering yourself. You can use the sunscreen lotion you want according to your skin. Apply sunscreen even on cloudy days too.

6. Soak one tablespoon of washed and cleaned red lentils with milk overnight. Grind this paste with milk to make a grainy paste, apply it with light hands on your face, and leave it for 20 minutes. After 20 minutes, gently scrub your face with wet hands and then wash it with water. Do this twice or thrice a week.

Try all these regularly, and you will soon feel positive results. If you think your problem is aggravating or some other problem is associated, visit a nearby dermatologist. Otherwise, try all these regularly, and you will start feeling results within one month.

I hope this information will help you.

Thank you.
