Patient's Query
Hi doctor,
I had hormonal cystic acne, and got treatment from a dermatologist, and was on pills that helped but caused me mood swings. Now, I do not want to continue them and am looking for an alternative. Can you please help me with this?

I went through your query. For discussion on your problem, I need to know few more details.
In general, you should avoid oily fried foods. You should give more emphasis on yoga and meditation.
Kindly get back with the above details for more discussion.
Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
Thank you for the reply.
I got checked for PCOD, and I do not have it. Before taking pills, I had cystic acne everywhere, mostly on the jaw and side of the cheeks. I am a student and sometimes do get stressed but not too much. I avoid sugar and coffee as much as I can. I walk daily for two hours. I always get a good sleep and never mess my sleep-wake cycle. After stopping my pills, I am getting acne on my chin and nose area, constipation (I have it frequently, not having a good digestive cycle), and mood swings. I do not feel very energetic.
