Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I have slightly oily skin. Initially, I get pimples, and after they burst, they leave black marks that take a long time to fade. Could you kindly suggest ways to get rid of them?
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I understand your concern.
Pimples are very common at this age due to hormonal changes. Whenever you try to squeeze them with your nails, it damages the cells around the pimples, and these dead cells cause black, brown, or red discoloration. You should avoid squeezing them. I suggest you follow these steps:
Additionally, avoid spicy and fried junk foods. Quit smoking and drinking if you have these habits. Drink plenty of water. Practice regular kapalbhati, mandukasana, and ardha matsyendrasana, along with pranayamas like anulom vilom, nadi shodhan, and bhramari.
I hope this helps you.
Thank you.
