A patient reported to my clinic with numbness in lips during night only. No extra oral lesions are noted in clinical examination. What will be the probable causes?

Look for caries in the mandibular teeth on the affected side. In some cases, peri-apical infection and abscesses may compress the ID canal and cause numbness.
