Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I am a 25-year-old female. My body is fair, but my face is much darker. I have tried many creams and lotions, but there has been no improvement. I am looking for a solution to this issue.
Please suggest.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I understand your concern.
If your face is darker than the rest of your body, it may be due to excessive sun exposure. However, if it is your natural skin tone, it cannot be lightened with creams or other topical products. To protect against sun damage, apply sunscreen lotion at least half an hour before going outside, even on cloudy days. You can also apply aloe vera gel to your skin twice a day. Use an oatmeal scrub two to three times a week, or any other scrub you prefer. Be sure to drink plenty of water daily and include more fresh fruits and vegetables in your diet.
These steps should help a lot. However, if you have any underlying skin issues, I recommend visiting a dermatologist first.
I hope this clarifies things. We can have a follow-up in three weeks.
Thank you.
