Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

At the beginning of the intimacy, I was wearing only cotton underwear (knickers) and sanitary pads or daily pads the ones that collect vaginal fluids. My boyfriend was naked and I was humping and grinding on his bare penis. Can this act lead to pregnancy? He did not ejaculate also he did not penetrate his penis at all in my vagina and there was no skin-to-skin contact with our genitals but there was precum. What are the chances of pregnancy? Can precum pass through my thin knickers and the sanitary pads and cause pregnancy?

Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I read your query and understand your concern.

According to your description, there is almost no chance of getting pregnant in such situations. But may I know what is your menstrual date and when this activity happened?

Thank you.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I want to know about two things:

Can precum on my thigh cause pregnancy because during the intimacy he touched my thigh with his penis only for a few seconds. In the end, he ejaculated on my breast then I wiped it with a tissue. After that, I went to the bathroom and washed my hands and my breast with water and shampoo. I dried myself with a towel, and after that, I went directly to take a shower. Can the remaining (if there is any) of the ejaculation runs down with the water shower to my vagina and cause pregnancy? May last period was four weeks back, and intimacy was after fifteen days.

Thank you.

Hello,

Glad to have you back!

I am here to help you get the best medical advice. Yes, precum can cause pregnancy only if it went inside the vagina. But you are saying precum was on your thighs then it would not cause pregnancy. In the second case, the possibility of getting pregnant is like 0.001 % and this is very rare. So you should not think about that. Even if a couple regularly does unprotected intercourse for a year. There is only a 20 to 40 % chance of getting pregnant. So do not worry.

Thank you for consulting me.
