Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
A friend suggested a tablet to help with lasting longer during intimacy, and I decided to try it. Before using the medicine, everything was working normally, and I had no issues. However, after stopping the medication, I have been experiencing problems; now I am unable to get an erection. I am very concerned and would like some guidance or help with this issue.
Please help.
Hi,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I read your query and can understand your concern.
I am sorry to hear that you are going through this experience. From what you have shared, it sounds like you took a tablet recommended by a friend to help with lasting longer during sexual activity. However, after stopping the medication, you have started to experience difficulty achieving an erection, even though everything was functioning normally before.
This type of problem can occur with certain performance-enhancing medications or supplements, especially if they affect blood circulation or hormone levels or interfere with your body’s natural response. While some products may offer short-term results, they can also lead to unwanted side effects or disrupt normal sexual function when stopped.
The first step is to stop using any non-prescribed medication or supplement. If a qualified medical professional did not recommend the product, there is a greater chance it could have negative or unpredictable effects.
Next, give your body some time to adjust. Your symptoms may resolve on their own within a few days or weeks. Try to stay calm and avoid overthinking or stressing about the issue, as anxiety can also make erectile problems worse.
It is very important to speak with a doctor or urologist. A medical professional can evaluate your symptoms, run appropriate tests if necessary, and offer guidance based on your specific situation. There are safe and effective treatments available, and many men recover fully with proper care.
Lastly, please avoid using medication based on suggestions from friends. These products may carry health risks, and professional guidance is essential for protecting your long-term well-being.
I hope this helps.
Kindly revert so I can assist you further.
Thank you.
