Nux Vomica, also called strychnine tree, is used to treat various conditions, such as digestive problems like constipation, bloating and heartburn, male infertility and impotence, allergies, back pain, menstrual problems, and insomnia. It has anti-inflammatory properties and helps in treating rheumatoid arthritis, asthma, and hemorrhoids. The flowers and seeds of Nux Vomica contain antibacterial and antioxidant properties. It should not be taken by patients having liver disorders.
