Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I sprained my right knee two months ago. Although the sprain has healed, I am currently experiencing weakness and pain in the bone of my right knee when I stand or walk for extended periods. Additionally, I am dealing with stiffness in my right knee, making it feel less flexible than before.
Kindly help.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I read your query and understood your concern. You mentioned a sprain, but you did not mention whether it resulted from an injury or some other reason. I suggest you get an X-ray of your knee done to determine the exact condition of your knee. This will help identify any potential bone-related issues and guide appropriate treatment. I suggest you get a treatment based on the specific cause rather than a generalized approach. In general, treatments for a sprain may include massage, ice packs, painkillers, and possibly supplements. However, these treatments may only provide partial relief. If there is an underlying cause other than a sprain, relying solely on general treatment may hinder addressing the actual problem. I suggest you follow up with an X-ray of your knee for a more specific treatment approach.
I hope this has helped you.
Thank you.
