Hi doctor,

I am 20 years old, female. Ever since I have been 14 years old, I have irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), bad stomach pains and constipation, almost two years ago I stopped taking my BC pills (I was on birth control since I have been 16) and my period did not come forever after and my skin was at its best ever. Three months later my periods became heavy and about six months later I started having bad painful cystic acne all over my face and body, heavy periods and cramping (lots of blood clotting), bad IBS, alternating between D and C types, bad bloating like I was pregnant and gas. On top of that since last six months, I have had a leaking bladder, unsure if that is from straining or food related. I tried BC again in the last three months but my skin looked worse again. I am on a paleo diet and noticed my skin is a bit better but I do believe my hormones are a big role in this and would truly appreciate an opinion.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com. I just read your query. You can try these simple home remedies as these are helpful for your problems. Chew half teaspoon of fennel seeds after every meal. It will help in better digestion of food and also useful in bloating. Take aloe vera juice1.00 tbsp with an equal amount of water two times a day after food for ten days. If you notice an increase in stool frequency then you can reduce juice amount to 0.67 tbsp. It will help in normalizing your periods. Apply aloe vera gel two times a day over the face. It will help in reducing the acne problem. In case of excessive bloating, you can take half teaspoon of ginger juice with a pinch of rock salt. It will also help in decreasing the problem. Try all these things regularly and you can consult me after ten days or you can consult a nearby Ayurveda physician regarding improvement and for further management. I hope you understand my point.
