Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am 27 years old. My periods are delayed by five days. Please suggest any pills to get back my periods or any natural remedy.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Definitely, I would like to help you. There are several causes for an irregular period. Hypothyroidism and PCOD are most common of them. It may cause infertility. Once you should go to investigate your complete blood count (CBC), thyroid profile and USG abdomen to rule out hypothyroidism and PCOD. After exact diagnosis treatment would be helpful. For now you can take M2 tone syrup (Ayurvedic medicine) two teaspoons twice a day before food and Ashokarishtam (Ayurvedic medicine) one tablespoon twice after meals. Avoid spicy and fried junk foods. Drink plenty of lukewarm water. Avoid cold drinks, soft drinks ice-cream, etc. Do yoga exercises regularly such as kapalbhati, mandukasana and ardha matsyendrasana as well as pranayama like anuloma vilom, Nadi sodhan and bhramari. After above mentioned investigation reports are observed, medications may be changed. So you must revert back after investigation reports.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
