Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I am a 38-year-old male. My weight is 187.39 Ibs and height is 5'11". I had the problem of blood in my stool for a year and that got cured with medicine. Now again I feel very difficult to go toilet. I think it is constipation. I feel hard to pass stool. I used to wake up around 6.30 AM. After drinking a glass of lukewarm water, I used to walk for 30 minutes and then will have a cup of tea with two biscuits by 7.30 AM. After half an hour again I will have a glass of warm water at 8 AM. Despite all these, I used to pass stool with difficulty. So, please give me some valuable advice to cure my problem. I also have a problem with my legs below the knees. I feel restless in my leg all the time and after doing some work like a visit to the market and any other thing I feel my leg has been very tired and should take rest. But, when I take a rest I feel very uncomfortable. So, I have to move my legs from time to time. I have taken many medicines and multivitamin but there has been no benefit. Because of this trouble, I do feel lazy and avoid traveling as I cannot stand for a long time. I cannot have both hot and cold food because of the uneasiness in my tongue and teeth. Please help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

After knowing your symptoms, it mainly seems that you are suffering from fissure in ano which is also a reason for blood in stool associated with anal pain while passing stool. Following dietary changes and Ayurveda medication can help you to get relief from this problem. You should take fiber-rich diet with more part of a salad. Avoid oily, spicy junk food, coffee, tea, smoking, and preserved food items. Take a glass of buttermilk during the daytime and avoid curd. Try to eat more green leafy vegetables and avoid potatoes, cauliflower, black gram, okra, peas, etc. And take fruits like papaya, apple, and guava. You should not sleep immediately after eating dinner or a meal and avoid daytime sleep. Have proper sleep and avoid late nights. Always walk 100 steps after having meals. I suggest tablets of Arsha kuthar ras (Kajjali, Lauha Bhasma, Shunthi) two tablets twice daily. You can have Swadishta virechan churna (Shuddha gandhak, Saunf, Mulethi) or Sukhdata churna (Shunti, Yavani, Haritaki) 0.11 to 0.18 oz at bedtime with milk or lukewarm water.

You can also take Abhayarishta (Haritaki, Mridvika, Vidanga, Madhuka) 4 tsp with equal amount of water after meals twice daily. Your leg pain is usually associated with constipation. It will get relieved once constipation problem gets cured.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

Thanks for your quick reply.

I would like to get my food digested properly and to open my bowels without any problem. How long should I take the medicine?

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

Along with the above medicines take syrup Amlycure DS (Bhringaraja, Bhuiamla, Giloe)(Aimil pharma) two teaspoons twice daily. You take the medicine for a week and let me know the progression of your problem.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
