Ayurvedic Procedure For Anal Fistula

An anal fistula is a condition that requires surgical management. In Ayurveda, it is managed by doing Kshara Sutra and Agnikarma. In Kshara Sutra, the Kshara Sutra is inserted into the fistula using a probe, and both ends are tied together. It is replaced with a new one after a week. Kshara Sutra gradually cuts and heals with tract. Finally, the whole fistulous tract gets healed after cutting.
