Q. Should I discontinue the products containing coco-glucoside if I am allergic to coconut?
Hello doctor,
I always have dry, sensitive, and irritated skin. My entire life, I have been severely allergic to all nuts and tree nuts. I also have a small allergy to coconut. I notice that all of the skincare products and shampoos I have contains Cocamidopropyl betaine or Coco-glucoside in them, which are derived from coconut. Should I discontinue using these products?

So you should be aware of this and try to know elaborately about those factors or allergens which cause itching, trouble, irritation, red patches, etc.
Treatment plan:
In this situation, you should avoid or protect yourself from those allergens which aggravate the symptoms mentioned above. As well as there is a need to improve your immunity. To do this, you should take Haridrakhand 0.11 ounces with warm milk before the meal and do regular pranayamas like Anuloma Viloma, Nadi Shodhana, and Bhramari.
