Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I suffer from severe scarring, recurring acne, black spots rolling scars, red spots, whiteheads, and pus-filled pimples. I have tried various creams and medications but did not improve. What can I do?

Please help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I went through your query and can understand your concern.

It appears to be seborrheic dermatitis on the forehead with nodulocystic acne. So, I suggest you follow the instructions mentioned below.

1. Wash your face with a mild face wash twice daily for two weeks.

2. Apply 2 percent Nadifloxacin (antibiotic) cream for two weeks twice daily.

3. Take a tablet of Doxycycline (tetracycline) 100 mg once daily after dinner for seven days.

4. Avoid direct sun exposure.

5. Do not pick or pop your acne.

6. Avoid spicy food items.

7. Eat healthy and nutritious food rich in antioxidants.

8. Stay hydrated.

9. Avoid the use of greasy cosmetic products.

9. Use a good sunscreen.

Kindly consult a specialist, talk with them, and take medications with their consent.

Hope it helps.

Thank you.
