Hello doctor,

I am a 31 year old female. I usually have regular periods, but this month I did not have a period. I got a negative pregnancy test. There was a little spotting. Could be it a sign of cervical cancer? I am really worried. Kindly suggest.

Does low fetal weight cause early termination of pregnancy?

Hi doctor,

I am 28 weeks pregnant (post IUI). Recently I got my growth scan done and it showed GA by LMP 29 weeks 3 days whereas GA by USG 28 weeks 2 days. Fetal body weight of 2.48 lbs and with a slight impression of asymmetrical IUGR. I am much worried about this 1 week 1 day gap between USG and low weight of the fetus. Can this gap be covered in the next USG, which I would be undergoing after ten days? My doctor gave injection Alamin-SN intravenously and one ampule injection Orofer since my hemoglobin was 10.40 g/dL. At present I am taking capsule Mcbm Dha, Ferium-XT, LRzin sachet and Wowmino sachet.

I wish to undergo a planned C-section delivery. Will that be possible considering my latest USG scan? Or do I have to terminate my pregnancy by delivering earlier? I would like to know whether I am receiving the right treatment or not. Kindly have a look on my amino infusion and guide me.

Why do I miss periods after sex on the day of my cycle?

Hi doctor,

I had intercourse with my girlfriend on the fourth day of her cycle. The next morning she took Unwanted 72 (emergency birth control pill) since it was unprotected. After around one week she had light periods, which continued for three to four days. The next month she got a delayed period. Now, on the first day of her cycle we had intercourse again. This time too without any protection. But this time she did not take any pill and did not get periods yet. She took home pregnancy test twice, but it came as negative. First one was three days after intercourse and the second one three days after her due date of periods. Both of us are tensed now. Please suggest. She is 25 years now. Is there any chance for pregnancy? Or any other complication is waiting?

Can pregnancy occur after taking i-pill?

Hi doctor,

My wife got her periods on 25th and on sixth we had unprotected sex followed by i-pill, which she had within four hours after the act. On seventh, we had protected sex thrice with new condoms for each act and after each act she washed herself with water. On thirteenth, she had bleeding for three days similar to her periods (around 60% of bleeding) but with less flow and few clots in them. These three days the bleeding was on and off. Her periods were to be due on 25th. We did a home pregnancy test that week and the results were negative. After ten days, we got the second pregnancy test done, but still the results came negative. At last on fourteenth, we got a urine pregnancy test and the result was again negative. She has no symptoms of pregnancy. On 17th she felt cramps and abdominal pain that was followed by thick white discharge. Is it a sign of pregnancy? Or is it a sign of her periods? Or is she pregnant?
