How long is the duration needed to stop depression medicine?
Hi doctor,
I have depression for a year. My doctor gave me Desvenlafaxine 50 mg for ten days. After that, he advised me to take 100 mg and I also take Clonazepam 0.25 mg, and Propranol 20 once a day. When can I stop these medicines?

Can uncleaned sex toys cause urinary tract infections?
Hi doctor,
Sorry for the graphic question. I am a 30-year-old male who used my sex toys nine days ago that I have never shared with anyone, but I was drunk and forgot to get them cleaned properly before use. So I have not washed them in a while. I fear a urinary tract infection but no symptoms yet.
Thank you.

Does wrong diagnosis of cancer cause anxiety symptoms?
Hello doctor,
Hope you can help me, please. I am a young breast cancer survivor in my twenties who had cancer a few years ago. I am now cancer free. However more recently than this, a doctor gave me a wrong diagnosis and told me he thought cancer had spread to my brain. It took weeks to get the brain scan and the results to find out it was clear. During this time I was panicking a lot and even now this event has passed a few months ago I am left with fatigue, internal shaking, head pressure and I jump out my skin to the slightest noise. I have all these anxiety symptoms, however, I am not worried about cancer anymore as the results were clear, but I seem to be stuck in some kind of stress response. I have tried Prozac and Citalopram (just in case these would help) and had a serious reaction to both of them (face going completely numb, vibrating and too dizzy to walk). I am not sure counseling would really help because as I mentioned the event that made me like this has now passed and I feel fine about it and do not think about it anymore. In fact, I am worried that might make it worse as I am trying to forget about it. I am not anxious anymore. I just seem stuck with these symptoms. I would just like to know if you have heard of this before and is it normal that this can happen? Also, do you have any suggestions what I can do? Should these symptoms go away in time?

Does Arpizol and Pacitane help in managing schizophrenia?
Hi doctor,
I was diagnosed with schizophrenia before 7 years. I used to take Sulpitac early in the treatment and then I was prescribed Nexipride for a year. For the last three years, I am taking Arpizol 10 mg and Pacitane 2 mg. My age is 30 now and I want to get out of schizophrenia as soon as possible. My parents are worried about my marriage. Every time when I ask my psychiatrist, he says keep taking Arpizol and Pacitane. I am tired of this. Is the treatment right?
