My 25 months old daughter has disturbed sleep and loss of appetite. Please help.

Hi doctor,

I have a 25-month-old girl. She has discomfort at sleep for a couple of days. She has lost her appetite. I am checking her symptoms and signs regularly. Her body temperature is normal around 93.2 degrees Fahrenheit but sometimes her hands are hot. She has got all her vaccines. During the daytime, she feels bored and cries without a reason or feels discomfort with her toys. Due to the pandemic, I am unable to take her to a pediatrician. Please help.

Is it rational to give syrup Lactulose to infants for treating constipation?

Hi doctor,

My baby daughter is 4.5 months old. She suffers from immense constipation for the last three to four days since she is taking frequent formula feed due to growth spurt. She is trying hard but unable to pass stool. Finally, she is passing stool once a day in a minimal quantity. Earlier she was given syrup Lactulose for 15 days when she was having stool problems. Is it rational to give syrup Lactulose once daily for some days?

My 3.5-year-old daughter is constipated for the last 20 days. Kindly help.

Hi doctor,

My 3.5-year-old daughter is having constipation for the last 20 days. She has been prescribed Muout powder one scoop daily at night. Is it safe, and how long should the treatment go? After taking Muout, her stool got soft, but because of fear of getting hurt due to constipation, she does not sit on a potty seat, and she is not passing even the soft stool properly. She is doing in her pants like a paste and a very small amount. I tried a lot with lots of effort but unable to convenience her to sit on the potty seat whenever she needs to pass stools. Will it be an issue if she stops the nature pressure and tries to cover her buttocks on the floor when she needs to pass the stool? She was treated last year as well using Muout for three to four months due to constipation. Now again, the same medicine needs to be given. Please give your opinion.

My 6-month-old baby gets diarrhea on taking new formula milk. Why does it happen?

Hello doctor,

My baby just turned 6 months. I gave him Nan Optipro one for his first to 6 months, now I gave him the follow up milk which is Nan Optipro two. After two days of drinking, he is suddenly having diarrhea now (five times a day). I tried reaching out for a pediatrician in our area but they are not accepting the appointments. He is also irritated because of his blooming teeth and he is eating oatmeal with banana puree. I wanted to ask if it is just his tummy adjusting or is there any underlying problem?
