Can circumcision cure bleeding from penis tip during sex?

Hello doctor,

My husband and I had intercourse on the 25th night and the tip of his penis started bleeding during this. It was the first time he inserted his penis inside. The bleeding stopped the next day but the pain persisted. Today, there is a slight pain but he is afraid if he pulls the foreskin back and the bleeding will start again. He is also afraid that in the future the same thing might happen. Is circumcision necessary now? Is there any ointment or cream to stop the bleeding if he inserts again? Please advise.

Do individuals need kidney function checks after a UTI?

Hello doctor,

I have a question about kidney function. I had a urinary tract infection about two years ago. From that period, I am doing blood tests to evaluate the kidney function every 15 days. My urine test is always within normal range, and no protein or glucose has been found. My blood creatinine and urea are also within the normal range. Creatinine goes from 70 to 88, and urea is always steady at 4 to 5. The eGFR last time was 130 using creatinine and cystatin from the blood. My question is, can kidney function degrade so fast? Do I need to check it so often? The doctor that suggested to do checks on a regular basis is not a specialist in urology. He just told me that kidney diseases do not show symptoms until it is too late. I am not diabetic, my blood pressure is normal, and no one in my family has any issues with kidneys. How often should I check my kidney function? Thank you very much.

Can reduced urine output be due to a kidney problem?

Hi doctor,

I am a 54-year-old male suffering from hypertension and diabetes for five years. One week before, my abdomen scanning was done for thin urine flow, and I have attached the reports for you to review. Since yesterday my urine output has been reduced drastically. At a time, only 3.38 fluid ounces of urine is discharged even after drinking two glasses of water. I have a feeling that my bladder is empty even after drinking water. I have no pain during urination and ejaculation. My creatinine during the fever one month before was 1.5 mg/dL. Last week it was 0.97 mg/dL and 1.1 mg/dL in two different laboratories. Is there any problem with my kidneys? Is surgery required for my prostate? Please reply.
