What are the consequences of subgingival calculus?

Hello doctor,

I am 21 years old. I am having a tooth problem for almost a year. The right side of my last two teeth is aching continuously whenever I eat from my right side. So I stopped eating from that side now I am using only my left side teeth to eat. The last two teeth have a creamy layer near the gum but the layer is not outside the teeth, it is inside the teeth and I am not able to remove it. Please help, I do not know what is it and I am not able to use that side of my teeth. Actually, there is a small gap between my gum and teeth, and a yellow layer starts collecting inside my teeth. Please help me to know what is it and what I have to do to make it stop aching. I do not want to remove my entire teeth.

Thank you.

Can a dentist correct the problems in new dentures?

Hello doctor,

I just received my permanent dentures. The midline is off and it catches my eye every time I look in the mirror. The dentures are pretty loose as well. The dentist did have me do a try-in step with wax, but I thought because they were loose, the dentures appeared crooked. Can permanent dentures be adjusted to correct this?

My 16 year old daughter's baby teeth not fallen. Why?

Hello doctor,

My daughter is 16 years old, and her baby teeth have still not fallen off. Just in the past two years, it had slowly started to be pushed out and now the permanent teeth are finally erupting. It seems red in the middle, but there is no pain or discomfort. Will the teeth eventually come out on its own?
