Bronchodilators are a group of medications that widen, open, relax, or dilate the bronchi to ease breathing in bronchospasm conditions like asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Three groups of drugs comprise bronchodilators, namely Theophyllines, anticholinergics, and beta-2 agonists. Common side effects include dry mouth, headache, cough, diarrhea, tremors, palpitation, nausea, and vomiting.
